Join a leading healthcare provider as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in the PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) in Farragut, TN. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while providing essential patient care. As a valued member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and safety of patients recovering from anesthesia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide total patient care in the PACU setting.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and recovery progress.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery.

Requirements:

  • Active RN Licensure.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Critical care experience (PACU, ICU, or ED).
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts.
  • Must be greater than 50 miles from the facility.

Additional Information:

  • Patient ratio of 1:2 to 1:1.
  • Scrubs will be provided.
  • EMR system: Cerner-Surginet.
