Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - PACU for a long-term travel assignment requiring an active GA or Compact RN license and 18 months of recent experience.

Details

  • Outpatient Surgery Center unit within a hospital setting
  • AM shift scheduled 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • 5x8-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week
  • 30-minute meal break included in shift
  • On-call responsibilities required
  • 13-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand
  • Minimum of 18 months of recent RN experience required
  • CVOR RNs must have 18 months of full-time CVOR experience within the last 3 years at similar acuity with strong endovascular experience
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • Active license copy required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide perianesthesia nursing care within a post-anesthesia care unit setting
  • Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted unless the radius rule is waived
  • Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
  • RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, and 3 days if falling on or near a holiday
  • Only one holiday time-off request is permitted per assignment
  • Candidates may only be submitted to one open position at a time
