Description

American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for an ambulatory surgery center setting, requiring recent PACU experience and current BLS/ACLS certification.

Details

  • Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at an ambulatory surgery center
  • Monday through Friday schedule, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM
  • 8-hour day shifts, 5 shifts per week
  • No on-call requirements

Requirements

  • Active RN license (GA or compact) currently in hand
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU experience required

Additional Information

  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
  • Holiday coverage required: 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 of 3 minor holidays (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve)
  • Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in service
  • Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
