PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Registered Nurse located in the area is responsible for providing advanced post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia. This position requires a highly skilled healthcare professional to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort during the critical recovery phase.

Job Details

  • Certifications: CA Registered Nurse License, BSN, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; California RN license in hand required
  • Experience: 5 years of overall nursing experience, including 3 years in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and 2 years patient ratio experience
  • Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Clinical skills include airway management, anesthesia recovery, pain management, airway management, medication reconciliation, and IV therapy
  • Additional responsibilities include working in preoperative and extended care units, managing arterial lines, central lines, ports, and performing various outpatient procedures
  • Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required for employment
  • Applicants must have completed references and be prepared to provide documentation at the time of submission
  • The start date is scheduled for 10/06/2026, with an end date of 01/05/2027
  • No experience minimum is required beyond the specified qualifications
