Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN position is available in a healthcare facility. This role involves caring for adult and pediatric patients across various surgical specialties, including ICU, MRI, Oncology, and Interventional Radiology post-procedures. The position requires maintaining high standards of clinical care and efficient unit operation.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour days shifts with start times ranging from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM.
- Required Qualifications: Active ND or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), and PALS (American Heart Association) certifications. Must have a minimum of 2 years of recent PACU experience and Epic electronic charting experience. Experience working with pediatric patients is required.
- Additional Information:
- Must have EPIC charting experience.
- Caring for all surgical specialties, including ICU, MRI, Oncology, and Interventional Radiology postoperative patients.
- Equipment utilized includes Epic charting, AcuDose medication dispensing, and Phillips monitors.
- Float to other units/departments such as the PACU and pre-post day unit, with training to care for phase two patients.
- Nurse to patient ratio of 1-1 or 2-1.
- Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks.
- Scrubs: Ceil Blue (Provided).
- Must badge in and out at the facility.
- Only candidates living within 80 miles of the facility will be considered, with a client rate reduction of $8/hour for those living 60 to 80 miles away.
- Must note in submission if the clinician has previously worked for Sanford Health; if yes, must have an end date at least 6 months prior to the submission date.
- No travelers living within a 60-mile radius of the facility are eligible.
- This assignment begins on 11/09/2026 and concludes on 02/08/2027, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
