Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN), Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Farmington, New Mexico. This position involves providing recovery services for general surgery, orthopedic, neurological, obstetric/gynecologic, urology, ENT, and robotic procedures within a Level III trauma center. The role requires a dedicated RN to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, adults-mid to high-acuity environment during day shifts.

Job Details:

  • Location: Farmington, New Mexico
  • Facility Department/Cost Center: PACU (CC2001)
  • Role: Phase I Recovery RN
  • Specialty: Recovery for General Surgery, Orthopedic, Neuro, Ob/Gyn, Urology, ENT, Robotics
  • Number of Openings: 1
  • Shift: Days, 8:30 AM 6:30 PM
  • Schedule: 10 hours daily, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: RN degree, BLS certification, ACLS certification, 3 years of experience in a similar setting, location in the United States
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma level recovery and pediatric recovery
  • Additional Information:
    • Unit has 7 beds with patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2
    • Equipment includes Mindray monitors
    • EHR system utilized: Cerner
    • Float may be required to Preoperative and/or Endoscopy units
    • This role involves working primarily with adult patients of mid to high acuity levels
