Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse located in York, Maine. This 13-week assignment offers full-time hours, working four 9-hour day shifts per week with a weekend call rotation. Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of experience in an Acute Step-Down Unit (ASU) or Critical Care environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts, 9 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications; at least two years of experience in an ASU/PACU or Critical Care unit; Maine location preferred; minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with weekend call rotation within PACU or Critical Care settings.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position requires a quick start with the assignment beginning on 09/28/2026 and concluding on 12/28/2026. Candidates are expected to adhere to all hospital policies and standards applicable to perioperative and post-anesthesia patient care.
