Requirements

2 years of PACU/RN experience
First-time travelers are welcome
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
Experience with electronic charting required
Trauma Level I experience preferred

Preferred Skills & Experience

Phase I PACU / inpatient experience
IV therapy and phlebotomy
Blood product administration
Central line care and management
Care of ventilated patients
Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
Pain assessment and management
PCA pump management
IV vasopressors and narcotic/opioid analgesics
Conscious sedation, general, local, and MAC anesthesia
Nerve blocks, spinal, and post-epidural management
EVD and ICP monitoring
Malignant hyperthermia protocol
RASS (Richmond Agitation Sedation Scale)

Weekend Requirement: 1–2 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
