Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Phase 1 experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Critical care experience.
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Call: Call coverage is required, including weekend call.
- Additional Information: The role involves caring for post-anesthesia patients with typical patient ratios of 1:1 or 2:1. Clinical activities may include nerve blocks, lumbar punctures, and chest tube placement. Equipment may include infusion pumps, arterial lines, bilevel positive airway pressure devices, chest tubes, bladder scanners, and pulse-check Doppler devices. Teamwork and multitasking are important, and navy blue scrubs are required.
