Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant position available in a healthcare facility located in New Port Richey, Florida. This role involves supporting the Physical Therapist in delivering patient-centered outpatient therapies, including gait training, modalities, and functional skills training. The position is scheduled to start on August 24, 2026, with a shift from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and requires a minimum of 40 hours per week.

  • Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited school, CAPTE certification, CPR certification, active license for the state of Florida, 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience, and a minimum of 1 year of experience in the role
  • Preferred Qualifications: Successful completion of previous assignments with the agency or organization, and prior experience with the organization is highly desired
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: Assists in implementing treatment plans by a licensed Physical Therapist, trains patients in mobility and use of assistive devices, demonstrates modalities, monitors patient responses, and maintains documentation. Follows all facility guidelines regarding safety, infection control, and clinic policies, ensuring a safe and professional environment. Active participation in team conferences, quality improvement projects, and literature sharing is encouraged to enhance patient care.
