Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a day-shift assignment requiring outpatient PT experience and an active MI PT license.

Details

  • Outpatient rehabilitation services setting in a 49-bed rural hospital
  • Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • No weekend or on-call requirements
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Required PT experience
  • Required outpatient experience
  • Active BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Active Michigan PT license required, if applicable
  • Skills checklist current within 1 year, pertinent to physical therapy, required for consideration
  • Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include patient evaluation, treatment planning, and coordination of care with physicians and support staff
  • Delegates responsibilities to Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides
  • Educates patients and families on condition, treatment rationale, and prognosis
  • Develops and updates individualized treatment plans based on assessment data
  • Business casual dress code
  • Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be considered
  • No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
