Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to neuro/ortho and medically complex patients in an outpatient setting
• Evaluate and treat patients within the scope of practice to meet facility needs
• Document patient care and progress using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes
• Participate in holiday coverage — expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska Physical Therapist License (pending license accepted; processing typically takes 10–12 weeks)
• BLS Certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience; first-time travelers accepted
• 2 references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required during compliance process prior to start
• Hepatitis B vaccine required; titers and declinations are not accepted
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with neuro, orthopedic, or medically complex patient populations
• Prior experience charting in Epic
• Familiarity with outpatient therapy workflows in a hospital-based setting
