Job Summary
Physical Therapist, Outpatient Physical Therapist. The position provides outpatient orthopedic and geriatric rehabilitation services in a multidisciplinary clinical setting. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, directing discipline-specific therapy services, and supporting functional return to community activities.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Assignment Dates: 11/16/2026 through 02/15/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience; current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification; active and applicable state license for the location where services are performed.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include completing comprehensive patient evaluations; creating, implementing, and modifying treatment plans; maintaining accurate and timely medical record documentation; providing care under valid physician orders and within applicable clinical approvals; educating patients, families, students, and coworkers; participating in student development when assigned; pursuing continuing professional development; complying with applicable state practice acts, regulatory requirements, professional standards, and patient-safety practices; and contributing to quality-improvement initiatives.
