Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient (OP) located in Marinette, WI. This outpatient rehab position involves providing therapy services to a diverse patient population, including adolescents through geriatrics, with a focus on general orthopedics, low back pain, hip and knee pain, post-surgical recovery, falls, work-based injuries, and neuro conditions. The role offers a flexible schedule with options for 5 eight-hour shifts or 4 ten-hour shifts.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, WI state license
- Education: Bachelor's degree or above
- Years of Experience: 1 year minimum required, but willing to accept candidates with at least 1-year experience or first-time travelers
- Location Requirements: Marinette, WI, with possible floating to Michigan (if licensed) about 30 minutes away
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week; manager can be flexible on work shifts
- Orientation: 1-3 days based on candidate comfort level
- Patient Types: Adolescents (approx. 5%) to Geriatrics, with experience not necessary in adolescent cases
- Clinical Responsibilities: Manual therapy, exercise, mechanical traction, lite gait, education, pain neuroscience (PNS), vestibular training (preferred), dry needling (preferred), blood flow restrictions (preferred)
- Support: Other PTs, onsite and via phone support, schedulers for visits, multidisciplinary team with OT and SLP
- Charting System: EPIC preferred
- Equipment: Hand weights, TheraBand, resistance machines, aerobic equipment, bikes, new steps, treadmills
- Float: Float rotation may be required. If licensed in Michigan, could float to Michigan outpatient PT
- Holidays: 50% of holidays included in contract; clinic closed on holidays but open in evenings and the day after holidays
