Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of experience specializing in orthopedic and geriatric care.

Details

  • Outpatient physical therapy setting
  • Average daily census of roughly 25 patients split among 2.5 therapists
  • Handles 8-12 visits per day
  • Specializes in orthopedic and geriatric patient populations
  • Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • No on-call requirements

Requirements

  • Current BLS certification required
  • LA state license or compact license required (license required if applicable)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
  • New graduates will not be considered

Additional Information

  • Open to first-time travelers
  • Orientation held five days a week
  • Candidates must live more than 65 miles from the facility to be considered
  • RTO must be documented on candidate profile and discussed during interview
  • Candidates may be asked to join an emergency response team during declared emergency events, with expectations to remain on-site or serve as part of a relief team
  • Former permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must have a one-year separation from the facility before returning as a traveler
