Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a multi-disciplinary medical center, treating orthopedic patients ranging from teens to older adults.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting within a multi-disciplinary medical center
• 5x8 day shifts with flexible start and end times, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Treats general outpatient orthopedic caseload including non-surgical and post-operative patients
• Patient population spans teens to older adults

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; interview required if less than 1 year
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Experience with charting systems required (any EMR)
• Skills in orthopedic conditions including DDD, DJD, frozen shoulder, gait training, hip/knee injuries, low back pain, sciatica, and spinal conditions
• Experience with post-op cervical, shoulder, and spinal surgery patients
• Proficiency with assistive devices such as crutches, walkers, and slings
• Experience with modalities including cryotherapy, e-stim, moist heat, and TENS
• Strong documentation skills including evaluations, POC, goals, and reassessments
