Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for an orthopedic clinic, open to new grads with 1+ year of experience.

Details

  • Outpatient orthopedic clinic setting
  • Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
  • Uses Cerner for charting
  • Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital and within their scope of practice

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience required
  • New graduates welcome
  • Orthopedic experience preferred
  • BLS certification required
  • Maryland or Compact PT license required (license required if applicable)
  • Two supervisor references required
  • Must be nicotine-free; facility is tobacco-free and positive nicotine screens result in cancellation

Additional Information

  • Treats orthopedic and sports medicine patient populations, including post-op, joint replacement, and spinal conditions
  • Utilizes modalities such as cryotherapy, e-stim, moist heat, ultrasound, and traction
  • Performs evaluations, assessments, home exercise programs, and patient/family education
  • Completes non-billable orientation and annual modules (4-6 hours average) through WorkDay
  • Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year
  • No mile radius rule; local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
  • Open to first-time travelers
