Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School; 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience preferred; CPR Certification.
- Schedule: Shift hours are 8 hours daily, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Position Responsibilities:
- Completes comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
- Develops, implements, and modifies individualized treatment plans focused on patient progress and discharge goals within established lengths of stay.
- Documents medical records clearly, accurately, and timely, including goal setting, assessments, and billing entries in compliance with regulations.
- Ensures all care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance guidelines.
- Participates in student programs, providing supervision and evaluations.
- Pursues ongoing professional development through continuing education and engagement in professional activities.
- Adheres to all applicable state practice acts and maintains licensure in good standing.
- Demonstrates understanding of the organizations performance improvement initiatives and contributes to quality enhancement.
- Additional Information: Must possess the appropriate skills and competencies to perform job functions for outpatient physical therapy, including clinical reasoning, documentation, patient safety, and interprofessional collaboration.
