Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Outpatient Pharmacist to provide safe and accurate medication dispensing while delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced outpatient pharmacy. The pharmacist will collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and educate patients on proper medication use.

Roles & Responsibilities

Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
Dispense medications safely and efficiently.
Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and adherence.
Monitor for drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
Maintain accurate pharmacy documentation and patient records.
Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
Support inventory management and medication safety initiatives.

Requirements

Active Pharmacist License
Previous outpatient or retail pharmacy experience preferred
Strong knowledge of medication therapy and pharmacy regulations
Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
