Description

American Traveler is seeking a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist for an Outpatient setting, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and an active IL PT license.

Details

  • Outpatient clinic setting within a Critical Access, Magnet hospital
  • PT Outpatient unit treating pelvic floor patients, both male and female
  • Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • No weekend or on-call requirements
  • No floating required outside of scope
  • Uses Cerner for charting

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
  • BLS certification required (AHA or Red Cross accepted; RQI cards not accepted)
  • Active Illinois PT license required in hand at time of application - license required if applicable
  • Cerner charting experience preferred
  • Experience with pelvic floor training and postpartum care preferred
  • Must be able to arrive in IL at least 3 business days prior to compliance date to meet fingerprinting requirements

Additional Information

  • Opportunity to convert to a permanent position after completion of travel contract
  • Open to contract lengths ranging from 13 to 26 weeks
  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction
  • Business casual attire or plain solid scrubs required
  • Free parking available in any unrestricted space
  • RTO ideally limited to no more than 5 days
  • Candidates must work 2 of the 3 major holidays
  • Previous permanent or PRN employees must be separated from the facility for at least 12 months before returning as a traveler
  • Day 1 orientation is conducted virtually from home, with required modules completed by 4:00 PM CST
