Description

American Traveler is hiring a Chemo-Certified RN for an Outpatient Oncology position requiring 3+ years of oncology experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Work in the Chemo unit within an outpatient oncology clinic setting
• Clinic operates 7 days a week
• Day shift schedule with 4x10-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Uses Epic for charting
• May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals per unit needs

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact), OR license required for submission
• BLS certification required, ACLS also expected
• Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) required
• BSN preferred
• OCN and TCTCN certifications preferred
• 3+ years of Outpatient Oncology experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Chemotherapy administration skills required
• Experience in BMT and Infusion Center settings preferred
• Inpatient and outpatient oncology experience preferred

Additional Information

• Administer chemotherapy and provide oncology nursing care in an outpatient setting
• Refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
• Candidates must be able to provide up to two weeks of requested time off submitted upfront
• Returning staff must have a gap of 6+ months since their last assignment before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no mile radius restriction
• First-time travelers may be considered depending on position details
