Description

American Traveler is seeking a chemo and biotherapy certified RN for an Outpatient Infusion Therapy/Oncology position requiring Epic experience and a VT or compact RN license.

Details

  • Outpatient clinic setting within an Adult Hematology/Oncology infusion unit with 8 chairs
  • Adult patient population ages 18-100
  • Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4
  • 8-hour day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week
  • No weekend requirements
  • No on-call requirements
  • No floating required
  • No charge nurse responsibilities required
  • Uses Epic documentation system

Requirements

  • Active VT or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Infusion/Oncology specialty required
  • Outpatient clinic experience in an Infusion/Oncology setting required
  • Chemotherapy and biotherapy certification required
  • Trained in administering chemotherapy in a clinic setting
  • Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required

Additional Information

  • Provide infusion therapy and chemotherapy administration to adult hematology/oncology patients in an outpatient clinic setting
  • Scrubs of any color permitted; no nail polish allowed
  • Must work 2 of the following 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day
  • Reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended, as public transportation is not accessible in the area
  • Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April
  • Local candidates accepted
  • Radius-based pay rates apply based on direct-line distance from the facility
