Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Rotating Weekends | 2 Major Holidays | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an Orthopedic unit, including pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing procedures such as total knee and hip replacements
• Perform and assist with wound care, incision and drainage (I&D), and other unit-based procedures
• Monitor and document patient status using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Rotate float assignments to other units as needed in accordance with facility floating policy
• Adhere to facility dress code, attendance, and unit-specific policies throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses are not accepted)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of Medical-Surgical RN experience
• Minimal wound care experience required
• Willingness and ability to float to other units per facility policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Orthopedic nursing experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
• Familiarity with pre- and post-operative orthopedic patient care protocols
