Job Requirements

• Active RN license in West Virginia or a Compact state; pending license may be considered for submission
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Registered Nurse experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required
• AHA-issued BLS and ACLS preferred where applicable
• Experience with Cerner required
• Strong clinical skills in adult medical-surgical care
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and adapt to changing patient needs
• Travel nursing experience not required

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient status, assess changes, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and support blood product administration as needed
• Assist with wound care, post-operative care, respiratory support, and other common med/surg interventions
• Care for patients with a variety of diagnoses, including neurological, renal, orthopedic, cardiac, and surgical conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to promote optimal patient outcomes
• Document accurately and efficiently in Cerner
• Support a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and evidence-based practice
