Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Job Description

Join a team of dedicated professionals in a busy orthopedic unit, where you'll provide high-quality nursing care to patients pre and post-surgery. Your role will involve working collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The unit features 32 individual rooms, and you will be equipped with advanced medical technology and resources to support patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and manage IV therapies.
  • Perform dressing changes, suture/staple removals, and catheter insertions.
  • Maintain and assist with advanced wound care procedures.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and document in EMR.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Current NC RN License required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Previous hospital or orthopedic experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills essential.
