Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 29-bed unit serving adult through geriatric orthopedic and medical-surgical patients
• Care for high-volume patient populations including total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties
• Monitor and manage inpatient and 24-hour observation medical patients
• Utilize telemetry monitoring capabilities available on the unit
• Serve as Charge RN as needed during assigned shifts
• Float to other campus locations as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Charge RN experience required
• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with orthopedic patient populations including post-surgical care
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in an inpatient setting
• Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced inpatient units
