Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Urbana, Illinois.

Job Summary: RN Ortho

  • Provide direct and indirect nursing care to orthopedic patients.
     
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare team.
     
  • Monitor patients’ conditions and report changes to physicians.
     
  • Assist with orthopedic procedures and post-operative care.
     
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
     
  • Educate patients and families on orthopedic conditions, treatments, and home care.
     
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
     
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
     
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, physical therapists, and case managers.
     
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Med Ninjas Job ID #16739. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
