Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with recent neuro and ortho surgical experience for a 13-week assignment requiring call and holiday coverage.

Details

• Surgery/OR department position within a hospital setting
• 10-hour day shift schedule with 4 shifts per week, hours may vary starting around 0630-1700
• On-call requirements apply
• Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the OR specialty required
• Expertise in neuro and orthopedic surgical cases required
• Robotics experience needed for some cases, versatility across case types expected
• Cerner EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
• Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
• RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after offer
