Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Circulator for the Operating Room, requiring 3+ years of OR experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a 6-operating room surgical unit
• Supports a wide range of surgical services including general surgery, bariatrics, gynecology, robotics, orthopedics, plastics, urology, and select vascular cases
• Day shift schedule from 06:30 to 15:00
• 13-week assignment length
• On-call obligation required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 3 years of operating room experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Coordinate patient care throughout the surgical process and ensure the OR is properly prepared with necessary equipment and supplies
• Verify patient identity and procedure while maintaining a safe and sterile environment
• Work closely with the surgical team to ensure procedures run efficiently
• Monitor patients during surgery and document care as a key patient safety advocate
• Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
