Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - OR Circulate for a Days position requiring active MI licensure and previous OR circulating experience.

Details

  • Operating Room setting with 3 OR rooms and a Procedure Room
  • Provides outpatient and inpatient surgical services across general, gynecological, ENT, GI, ortho, podiatry, urology, and ophthalmic specialties
  • 1:1 patient ratio
  • Uses CPSI EMR system
  • Day shift schedule, Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM (9-hour shifts)
  • On-call required 10-11 days per month, weekend requirements limited to on-call only

Requirements

  • Active MI RN license required at time of consideration (compact license not accepted)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Previous OR circulating experience required
  • Ortho, OB-GYN, and General surgery experience required
  • PACU experience preferred
  • Urology and Ophthalmic surgery experience preferred
  • Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Delivers quality nursing care utilizing the nursing process in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Follows medical center policies, mission, and professional/regulatory standards of practice
  • Surgical team supports emergency surgeries 24/7
  • Hospital-provided scrubs required
  • Candidates residing within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers with adjusted travel rates
  • No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested
