Job Description

Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is looking for an RN - Operating Room to start right away in New Haven, CT. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma Center with a wide range of medical specialties.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room, focusing on GYN, ENT, Plastics, General, and Ophthalmology surgeries.
Assist in robotic surgeries, with experience in the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System being a bonus.
Participate in occasional weekend calls and shifts as needed.
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols, including laser and radiation safety.
Manage and handle surgical specimens, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting, with a focus on the listed specialties.
Active certifications in ACLS and BLS required.
Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
