Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with a CA RN license, prior travel experience, and Epic proficiency for a 13-week assignment.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room unit of a hospital setting
• 13-week assignment length
• Day shift schedule with two options: 5x8-hour shifts from 6:30-15:00 or 10:30-19:00
• Exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties including gynecology, orthopedics, neurology, general surgery, urology, vascular, thoracic, bariatrics, ENT, and robotics procedures (including Da Vinci systems)
• Performs scrub and circulating duties across multiple surgical specialties

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum of 3 years of OR experience required (5 years preferred)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• 2 professional references obtained within the past year required
• 7-year work history verification required, with documentation if needed

Additional Information

• Local candidates accepted at the local rate within a 50-mile radius
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
• Only 1 holiday may be requested off per contract (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas observed)
• Returning employees/travelers must have a 1-year separation before being eligible to return
• Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• All compliance documents due 10 days prior to start date
