Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2 years of recent OR experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• Current BLS/ACLS certifications from AHA or RQI
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 1 professional reference from a supervisor or manager within the past year (charge nurse references not accepted)
• No work history gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required
• Medical exemption documentation required for flu vaccine declination (personal or religious exemptions not accepted)

Additional Information

• Competency testing required for ICU units including MICU, Neuro, and SICU, with two attempts to pass
• Medical/Surgical applicants with less than 2 years experience must pass MS testing with two attempts
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with required make-up shifts completed within 6 weeks
• RTO must be requested at time of submission
• Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible
