• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania or a compact state license
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required
• Operating Room, perioperative, procedural, or outpatient surgery experience strongly preferred
• Pre-op and post-op experience required
• Moderate sedation experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Strong background in acute care, patient safety, and clinical collaboration
• Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Must be comfortable caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Must be able to complete pre-start compliance requirements on time

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the operating room and procedural settings
• Support pre-operative and post-operative patient care throughout the day
• Assist with procedural workflows involving pain management and outpatient surgery services
• Monitor patients receiving moderate sedation and ensure safe recovery
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver efficient, patient-centered care
• Float as needed to related units including GI, SPU, Pain Center, and PACU
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
• Promote safety, comfort, and positive outcomes for every patient encounter
