Description

American Traveler is hiring a seasonal travel RN for the Operating Room, requiring at least 1 year of acute care experience and active CO or compact RN licensure.

Details

  • Main OR with 14 operating rooms including 1 hybrid CV OR, 1 cysto room, and 12 multipurpose ORs
  • 408-bed hospital setting
  • Patient ratio of 1:1
  • Standard OR equipment including Stryker video systems
  • Uses Meditech EMR
  • Saturday through Monday schedule, day shift, with one additional rotating weekday shift covering third shift
  • On-call responsibilities include two 12-hour call shifts per month and 3-4 call shifts from 5p-7p per month
  • Typical procedures include angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and ortho/spine cases
  • No transplant procedures performed

Requirements

  • Active RN license (CO or compact) required
  • Minimum of 1 year current hospital acute care experience required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Circulating and scrubbing experience preferred
  • Meditech EMR experience preferred
  • No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide circulating and scrubbing support across a high-volume, multi-specialty OR
  • Work alongside CSTs, PCTs, Anesthesia Techs, Service Line Lead RNs, and Clinical Charge RNs
  • Strong patient experience focus and communication with staff and providers expected
  • Adaptability to change is valued in this role
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for consideration
