Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Operating Room for a day shift travel position requiring strong cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular experience.

Details

• Operating Room department in a hospital setting
• 13-week travel assignment, day shift 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Weekend rotation of 1 in 3
• Rotating holiday coverage
• Possible on-call requirement
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• 2 years of recent OR experience required
• Strong cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular experience required
• BLS certification from AHA or RQI required
• Epic EMR experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a range of surgical specialties including cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular cases
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible
• Medical exemptions only accepted for flu vaccine declinations; personal or religious exemptions not accepted
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks
• No blocked scheduling permitted
