OR RN – Trauma/Neuro

• Facility: Acute Care Hospital (Level II Trauma)
• Shift:10-Hour Nights
  • 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Monday–Thursday
• Guaranteed Hours:40 hours/week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

• Active RN License
• BLS (AHA)
• Trauma experience required
• Neuro experience required
• Epic EMR experience
• OR RN experience
• Charge nurse experience preferred (not required)

Unit Details

• 16 OR Suites
• Approximately 30 cases per day
• Common cases:
  • General Surgery
  • ENT
  • Neuro
  • Spine
  • Orthopedics
  • Robotics
• No scrubbing required for RNs
• OR Techs: 2 per shift

Call Requirements

• 120 hours of call per contract, shared in rotation with staff
• 30-minute response time
• Holiday call may be required depending on the contract

Floating

• May float only if there is an extreme need within Zone 1 facilities

• Charting System: Epic
• BSN Required: No
• Radius Rule: 60 miles (Driver's License required at submission)

• Scrubs provided by the facility
