Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2+ years of OR experience and mandatory on-call availability.

Details

  • Operating Room setting handling General, GYN, Urology, Robotics (Davinci), Ortho, Neuro/Spine, Podiatry, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Eyes, and Trauma cases
  • Day shift schedule, 10-hour shifts, 07:00-17:30, rotating Monday-Friday
  • Weekend and holiday coverage required for call
  • Mandatory on-call requirement
  • Rare floating to Endo may be required

Requirements

  • Active AK RN license required
  • Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2+ years of OR experience required, 5+ years preferred
  • New graduates not accepted
  • Reliable transportation required

Additional Information

  • Perform circulating and/or scrub duties across a wide range of surgical specialties including robotic-assisted procedures
  • Housing provided for 1 occupant (pets not permitted) or optional housing allowance available for qualifying candidates
  • Candidates will be required to mail fingerprints to Alaska Department of Health and Services within 48 hours of offer acceptance
  • Flu vaccination required with religious and medical exemptions reviewed on a case-by-case basis
