Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Operating Room position at a Level 1 trauma academic medical center, requiring 5+ years of OR experience and evening shift availability.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room unit of a Level 1 trauma academic medical center
• 10-hour evening shift from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, 40 hours per week
• Scrub and circulate duties required, though circulate-only applicants will also be considered
• Evening shift team must be well-rounded across all service lines including pediatrics and eyes
• Day shift team supports ortho (joint and trauma), neuro (crani and spine), plastics/burn, gen/trauma, colorectal, surgical oncology, gyn, gyn oncology, urology, robotics, CV, thoracic, vascular, and transplant cases

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• 5+ years of Operating Room experience preferred
• Level 1 trauma and academic medical center experience required
• Surgery center experience does not count toward required years of experience

Additional Information

• Candidates should be prepared to float throughout the hospital as needed
• Skills checklist and two professional references, each dated within the last 12 months, required for consideration
