Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position at a Level 1 trauma, academic medical center requiring scrub/circulate skills and a FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room unit of a Level 1 trauma, academic medical center
• 10-hour day shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Scrub and circulate duties required, though circulate-only candidates will also be considered
• Day shift staff support a wide range of service lines including ortho (joint and trauma), neuro (crani and spine), plastics/burn, gen/trauma, colorectal, surgical oncology, gyn, gyn oncology, urology, robotics, CV, thoracic, vascular, and transplant
• Evening, night, and weekend staff support all service lines including pediatrics and eyes

Requirements

• Active RN license (FL or Compact) required
• 5+ years of Operating Room experience preferred
• Level 1 trauma and academic medical center experience required
• Surgery center experience does not count toward required years of experience

• Candidates must be well-rounded and prepared to float across multiple surgical service lines
• First-time travelers are not being considered for this role
