Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week day shift assignment at a Level 1 trauma academic medical center, requiring 5+ years of OR experience and broad service line versatility.

Details

• Level 1 trauma academic medical center operating room setting in the 6K Operating Room unit
• Scrub/circulate role, with circulate-only applicants also accepted
• 10-hour day shift schedule, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week
• Day shift staff must be well-rounded across ortho (joint and trauma), neuro (crani and spine), plastics/burn, gen/trauma, colorectal, surgical oncology, gyn, gyn oncology, urology, robotics, CV, thoracic, vascular, and transplant cases
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• 5+ years of Operating Room nursing experience preferred due to hospital-wide floating expectations
• Level 1 trauma and academic medical center experience required
• Experience in a surgery center setting does not count toward required years of experience

Additional Information

• Perform scrub and/or circulate duties across a wide variety of surgical service lines
• Day shift staff should be prepared to support multiple specialties including orthopedics, neuro, plastics/burn, general/trauma, colorectal, surgical oncology, gynecology, gyn oncology, urology, robotics, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant surgeries
