Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 5+ years of OR experience at a Level 1 trauma and academic medical center.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room (6K) of a Level 1 trauma and academic medical center
• Evening shift position, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Shift hours are 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• Scrub/circulate role, though circulate-only candidates will also be considered
• Off-shift (evening, night, weekend) coverage includes all service lines including pediatrics and eyes
• No floating or charge responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license
• 5+ years of Operating Room experience required
• Level 1 trauma center and academic medical center experience required
• Surgery center experience does not count toward required years of experience
• Experience across multiple service lines preferred, including ortho (joint and trauma), neuro (crani and spine), plastics/burn, gen/trauma, colorectal, surgical oncology, gyn, gyn oncology, urology, robotics, CV, thoracic, vascular, and transplant

Additional Information

• Scrub and/or circulate during surgical procedures across a wide range of specialties
• Work history gaps over 30 days must be explained
• Candidates must provide Trauma Level, EMR, and number of beds information for consideration
• Two references dated within the last 12 months are required
• A skills checklist dated within the last 12 months is required
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration
