Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Circulator for an Operating Room position requiring 2+ years of OR circulating experience across multiple surgical specialties.

Details

  • Operating Room unit with 7 OR rooms at a Level III trauma facility
  • RN Circulator role supporting General, GYN, Vascular, Ortho, Urology, Podiatry, and da Vinci Robotic cases
  • Serves patients of all ages
  • 1:1 patient ratio
  • Uses Meditech EHR
  • Day shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
  • 36 hours per week guaranteed
  • Weekend coverage required every other weekend with potential for call
  • Call requirements include 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
  • Interdepartmental floating required as needed

Requirements

  • Active RN license in WV (Standard or Compact)
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Minimum 2 years of recent OR circulating experience
  • Circulating experience in General, GYN, Vascular, Ortho, Urology, Podiatry, and da Vinci Robotic surgeries preferred
  • OR scrub/circulator experience preferred
  • Professional demeanor required

Additional Information

  • Facility performs a wide range of surgical services including da Vinci Robotic, Spine, Orthopaedic, Vascular, Thoracic, Interventional Pain Management, Interventional Cardiology, Gynecological, General, Oral, Urological, Eye, and Trauma/Emergency surgeries
  • Scrubs supplied by facility; casual wear and other facility-branded attire not permitted
  • Orientation held biweekly on Wednesdays
  • Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
  • Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
  • Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
