• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (Perioperative RN / OR Nurse)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,270-$2,400
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Rotating day shifts with 5x8 and 2x12 patterns; 40 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Call: 4 calls per 6-week period with a 1-hour response time
• Weekend & Holiday Coverage: Required as scheduled
• Openings: 3
• Charting System: Epic preferred

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS required; CNOR preferred/required for OR practice
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Experience with a broad range of surgical cases preferred
• Comfort working rotating schedules, weekends, holidays, and call
• Ability to float within scope as needed
• First-time travelers accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical process
• Prepare the operating room and support efficient case setup, turnover, and workflow
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia teams while maintaining strict sterile technique
• Scrub and circulate across a wide range of procedures, including general surgery, orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, robotics, pediatrics, gynecology, urology, and trauma cases
• Handle instrumentation, specimens, and documentation accurately and efficiently
• Support patient safety, infection prevention, and compliance with OR protocols
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to promote seamless surgical care
• Participate in call, weekend, and holiday coverage as scheduled
