We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our team at a leading acute-care hospital in Olney, MD. This is a contract position with a focus on providing exceptional patient care in the operating room environment.

As an OR RN, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting in surgical procedures and ensuring a sterile environment
• Collaborating with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care
• Monitoring patients' vital signs and responding to any changes
• Providing education and support to patients and their families

Requirements for this position include:

• 2 years of General Surgery experience required
• Travel experience is required
• Current certifications: BLS
• Flexibility to be on-call, with shifts defined as 7a-7p or 7p-7a (12-hour shifts)
• Participation in an orientation shift within the first 2 weeks of the contract

Additional details:

• On-call shifts: Up to 5 shifts per 6-week schedule, averaging about 3, mostly on weekends
• Scrubs provided
