Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care in the operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Assist with patient assessments, planning, and implementation of care.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition before, during, and after surgery.
• Participate in the education and guidance of surgical team members and support staff.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to established protocols and infection control measures.
• Fulfill call requirements as scheduled, which may include weekday and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Experience with General, Orthopedic, OBGYN, Robotic, Urology, Hand, and Podiatry procedures.

Schedule

This position offers evening shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with additional call requirements as needed.
