Description

American Traveler is seeking an Operating Room RN with 2+ years of OR experience and robotic and ortho/neuro experience for a 13-week assignment requiring an active FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Operating Room unit in a hospital setting
• 10-hour day shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 0630-1700
• Call required: 1 shift per week after scheduled shift for 2 to 4 hours, plus 1 to 2 12-hour weekend shifts per month
• Uses Epic EMR
• Strong case mix including Ortho, oncology, bariatrics, vascular, neuro, trauma, and robotics
• Floating required, with travelers floated first, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required at time of submittal
• 2+ years of OR RN experience required
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Robotic and ortho/neuro surgical experience required
• Must have prior travel nursing experience
• Nursing degree must be from an accredited program and listed on profile, or candidate must have 5+ years of experience
• Driver's license address must match the address on the Board of Nursing

Additional Information

• Hospital provides scrubs
• Travelers are expected to integrate as core staff and function within the unit culture
• Orientation begins on a Friday with remote orientation, followed by an in-person visit for badge/ID
• All RTO must be submitted with the application, as the facility will not approve RTO after submission
• Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of the facility, strictly enforced, and cannot own or cosign property within that radius
• No block scheduling requests accepted
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions for pending documents
