Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Operating Room position requiring 3+ years of OR experience and prior travel assignment experience.

Details

• Operating Room department within a hospital setting
• 26-week contract assignment
• Rotating shifts, Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts (0700-1900 range)
• Rotating call required during weekdays and weekends, including holidays
• May be required to float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles (rare occurrence)
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Minimum 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required
• Robotic surgery experience preferred
• Scrub nurse experience helpful
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• US Social Security Number and US home address required

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care within the Operating Room
• Holiday coverage required in the form of call hours
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced pay rate
• First-time travelers may be considered given required experience is met
• Candidates should begin discussing extension opportunities with management approximately 45 days before assignment end date
