Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2+ years OR experience and EPIC proficiency, with call responsibilities and potential floating to nearby sites.

Details

• Work in the Surgery unit of a hospital operating room setting
• Rotating 4x10-hour shifts, either 0700-1720 or 0900-1900, flexible based on OR volumes
• Call responsibilities based on department needs, including weekday evening and weekend call
• Rotating holiday call coverage with regular staff
• May float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
• 26-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Robotic surgery experience preferred
• Scrub nurse experience helpful
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a surgical unit setting
• Radius rule applies which may affect eligibility for travel rate versus local rate
• COVID vaccination is not required
• First-time travelers may be considered given required OR experience is met
