Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Surgery unit position requiring at least 2 years of OR experience and prior travel experience.

Details

• Work in the Surgery unit of a hospital environment
• Rotating 4x10 hour shifts scheduled 7:00 AM to 5:20 PM, flexible based on OR volumes
• On-call responsibilities based on department needs, including weekdays and weekends
• Holiday call hours required on a rotating basis with regular staff
• May be required to float onsite within skill set for this contract only
• No floating to other sites within 40 miles required
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Minimum 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required
• Robotic surgery experience preferred
• Scrub nurse experience helpful
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care within the Surgery department
• Contract lengths available between 13 and 26 weeks
• Radius rule applies, which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
• Local candidates are accepted, potentially at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
